Global Supply Chain Director

Our client, is looking for a dynamic individual to join them as **Global Supply Chain Director
As our Global Supply Chain Director, you will scale the global supply chain functions to grow with the business. You will put in place and manage best in class procurement and inventory practices, working closely with all functions in every region of the business to ensure continuous and smooth supply.

**About Your Team**

You will be leading and inspiring a team of Supply Chain/Procurement/Purchasing specialist globally, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany and North America. Alongside that, you’ll be part of highly driven and engaging operations teams in these areas. People that care about what they do and the impact the work they do has on our business.

You, will be reporting into our Exec VP for Global Supply Chain & Operations, who is based in Singapore.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop long-term supply chain strategy for all our product ranges and manufacturing locations
- Implement supply chain practices that safeguard long-term product COGS and Unit economics
- Own all global demand and supply processes across all our regions and continually develop them to remain fit for growth
- Negotiate and maintain contracts with core suppliers and manufacturers
- Manage new product roll outs through the supply chain
- Support the setup of alternative routes of supply and provide agile thinking to bringing new ideas to life
- Set ambitious global supply chain targets and ensure the teams deliver them
- Shape solutions, deliver cutting-edge initiatives, and help build necessary capabilities and capacities across circular design, sourcing & procurement, operations & manufacturing, and extended supply chain
- Support development of key circular supply chain capabilities and enablers, e.g., digital and physical technology solutions, platform-driven transformation, operating model, partnership and ecosystem development, supply chain resilience, demand and supply planning
- Optimize performance of current supply chains including using lean methodologies to improve supply chain lead time; Supporting the GMs of each production facility in building strong supply chain functions
- Own and manage product business continuity plans for supply, working with global engineering functions to effectively manage End of Life and component replacement procedures, to ensure continuous cost controlled product supply.
- Actively involved in training and development of corporate systems (S/4 Hana) across each BU.

**Requirements**:

- A recognised degree, and or Masters degree
- Deep knowledge and experience in supply chain operations and proven track record of managing complex supply chain/business transformations
- Demonstrated influencing and leadership capabilities in an international environment
- Experience working with both contract manufacturers and in-house production
- Experience in supply chain planning and optimisation, ideally within electronics business
- Implemented S&OP and other processes at a high-growth company across different countries and supply chains.
- Successfully led a global supply chain function within an FMCG/ Global company
- Detailed knowledge of inventory and ERP systems
- Efficient process design and implementation
- Financial and commercial acumen
- Great at managing stakeholders in multiple regions
- Natural organiser with deep understanding of global supply chains
- Implemented multiyear global supply chain strategies
