**About our group**:
Sputter process engineering is responsible for creating a good process (both hardware and settings) for each product to ensure smooth production. Ongoing improvement need to be done from all aspects to improve quality, productivity & cost

**About the role - you will**:

- Take care of daily sputter machine yield and defects
- Work with FA personnel to understand the source of defects and take respective action
- Study different brands of target and their impact to sputter defects, machine response, and magnetic performance
- Work with QA & materials department on various issues
- Work with equipment and maintenance team on various projects to improve quality/cost/productivity
- Deal with new product transfer optimization, focusing on target and shield

**About you**:

- Strong engineering knowledge, ability to blend various disciplines of vacuum physics, magnetic fundamentals, materials processing & microstructure, and some machine mechanics
- Ability to pick up relevant knowledge at ease with good knowledge of physics
- Familiar with data analysis using tools like excel, jmp
- Good team player
- Good communication skill
- Knowledge of programming is an advantage

**Location**:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations.
