**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The person will join our Dynamic IT team to support our factory in its ramp up.
Under the responsibility of the Singapore IT HOD, the IT Section Manager Infrastructure will have to manage all the infrastructure perimeter of our factory in Singapore (300+ employees, 24*7) and our sales offices in Asia/US (40+ employees).
This perimeter includes SSD (servers, storage & databases), Network & Security and Office.
The expected tasks are:
- Manage the Infrastructure team (3 engineers + 1 technician + subcontractors), follow their activity, define their objectives, organize backups in the team, knowledge management
- Pilot the Infrastructure budget (plan, follow up, reporting)
- Anticipate the coming needs (people, capacity, devices), work closely with the project team in charge of the Factory extension and the infrastructure/architecture renewal (planned next year)
- Define and pilot CIP plans (continuous improvement plans)
- Pilot the KPI of the team (systems availability, antivirus coverage, etc)
- Liaise with the infra corporate team to deploy the corporate strategies (backups, monitoring, etc)
- Help the corporate team to support their systems if needed
This will require autonomy, good relationship and a strong technical knowledge as well as the ability to understand the constraints of our environments.
The job is based in our Semiconductor factory in Pasir Ris (Singapore) and requires close work with people located in our headquarters in France and our subcontractors in France and Spain.
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experienced IT engineer with a strong technical background and management experience (people, budget)
- Very good level of communication & leadership
- Technical skills: Linux/Windows, database administration, storage/backups, office support, network & security
- Highly organized, practical, analytical and detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, make critical decisions.
- Ability to work productively with frequent interruptions.
