**Responsibilities**:

- An individual contributor role, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide overall strategic HR partnership to business teams / functions in ASM to enable the client groups to achieve key business objectives and increase organizational effectiveness.
- Serve as a trusted thought-partner and advisor to ASM functional leaders and employees guiding the execution of assigned HR programs, processes, communications & strategic initiatives, coach and guide clients on HR and business-related issues.
- Create & lead HR strategy for business teams based on business goals & challenges
- Support & participate (as needed) in the global delivery of HR initiatives, identifying and managing opportunities in their client group to support the achievement of strategic goals
- Drive organizational scale and productivity for business teams; lead organizational change initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, which covers coaching, counselling, disciplinary actions and career development
- Manage employee relation issues - identify common issues/themes and proactively drive improvements.
- Model and instill Amgen culture and organizational values for the site
- Partner with both internal and regional HR services and COEs to provide HR solutions to meet business needs
- Provide support in annual manpower budgeting plan
- Analyze HR key metrics, develop continuous employee feedback mechanisms and use data to develop HR interventions and process improvements
- Use employee sensing data via Surveys to identify focus areas and drive site-wide action planning based on survey results
- Stay current on leading HR trends and deliver practical and insightful thought leadership, including the development and personal growth of our people.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree or higher is a plus
- 8 - 10 yrs+ of progressively complex/strategic HR experience in various types of HR roles such as strategic business partnering, staff relations, organizational effectiveness, compensation etc.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business needs and proactively develop strategic and practical solutions to business challenges
- Experience in Bio-Manufacturing / Pharma / Life Sciences / FMCG industry as a Business Partner in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Demonstrated experience driving organizational change initiatives
- Able to handle ambiguous situations well and be highly adaptable to work at all levels
- Driven, strategic and solutions-focused
- Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
- Displays excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
- Sound knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations, and business practices in Singapore.
- Strong project management, problem solving and analytical skills
