About The Team
The Global Payment team of ByteDance provides payment solutions, including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on the ByteDance platform.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for monitoring of the overall operating effectiveness of the Financial Crime Compliance risk across products and jurisdiction
- Identify key control points and assess execution of processes against governed procedures
- Lead and execute QC reviews of FCC functional areas for adherence to existing policies and procedures specifically in the areas of KYC, due diligence, name screening, transaction monitoring and suspicious activity reporting
- Complete clear and concise reporting which outlines findings and provides an effective and meaningful remediation plan
- Reporting and the tracking of remediation efforts to completion
- Produce Management Indicator highlighting trends to allow management a snapshot of the operational FCC risk
- Act as the internal control partner to the AML Compliance department
**Qualifications**:
Who We're Looking For
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in FCC
- Significant understanding of KYC, due diligence, transaction monitoring investigations and name screening
- Strong technical knowledge with an understanding of AML/CFT legislation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Effective problem solver and possesses excellent time management skills
- Ability to work methodically and accurately
- Excellent team player, flexible, energetic and enthusiastic
- Ambitious to learn and be challenged, detailed oriented
