**Responsibilities**:
- Business Development Strategy:Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and drive market expansion.
Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify potential growth areas and customer segments within the iron and steel industry.
Collaborate with the management team to define sales strategies, set objectives, and establish performance metrics.
- Lead Generation and Relationship Management:Identify and generate new business leads through proactive networking, market research, and attending industry events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
Conduct effective sales presentations and negotiate contracts with potential clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
Develop market entry strategies and action plans to penetrate new markets and gain a competitive edge.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt products and services to meet specific market requirements.
- Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting:Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
Utilize CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track sales activities, forecast sales trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Implement sales strategies and initiatives to optimize sales productivity and enhance overall business performance.
- Collaboration and Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
Coordinate with internal departments, including production, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience in business development or sales management roles within the iron and steel industry or a related manufacturing sector.
- In-depth knowledge of basic iron and steel products, manufacturing processes, and market dynamics.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
