Overview of job

- Work with some of the world’s leading CPG brands
- Be responsible for advising global marketing teams on communication strategy, partner with them during the campaign development process, consult on the right media channels, and drive innovations
- Interact with and inspire multi market teams as part of your work on strategy development and local deployment

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months:

- Well versed and trained in the tools
- Exposed to media dynamics of various countries
- Learning about roles of each group company of WPP

In six months:

- Under the leadership of your direct line manager be writing Brand Engagement Toolkits
- Working with global brand teams on client side and support presenting your work

In 12 months:

- Independently running your own portfolio of brands
- Be responsible for all communication delivery and audit clearance
- Have the expertise to liase within WPP group to deliver best in class solution to client

What your day job looks like at Mindshare:

- Get earphones, you will be working with a lot of cross country teams, so calls are scheduled daily
- You sit on the 3rd floor and client between 4-8, lifts shall be used daily, at least 1-2 meetings are scheduled daily to either receive new briefs or have a WIP or present solutions
- The day kicks off at 9 with a team meeting to track progress on jobs
- Apart from mails, meetings, calls, you will have to budget time to design solutions to the briefs, write them and prepare yourself thoroughly to present to internal team and then client

What you’ll bring:

- Bring your A - game on communications planning / strategy. You need to have worked in that discipline before
- Working knowledge of search, social, programmatic & e-commerce is important - we will take your word for it, but a google and Facebook blueprint certificate will tip the balance in your favour
- Content is king - and its creator is you. Working knowledge on content creator engagement and solution design helps, but we will train you if you are taking baby steps in this space
- Ability to multi task - it’s a dynamic world, things change constantly and you need to too. A much needed skill in our world
- And of course, numbers, viewing and understanding data, analysing and teasing out insights and making strategic recommendations is a must have skill
- Ideally, we would like Superman, but he is a myth, fiction they say, so minus the flying, cape and kryptonite weekness, we want someone who can do all the above

Minimum qualifications:

- Graduate or Post Grad in Marketing / Economics or related field
- Worked in a communication strategy / planning role
- 7+ years of work experience
