1. Role Description:
HSE officers monitor health and safety, assess risk, and design strategies to reduce potential hazards within an assigned workplace or geographic area. HSE officers manage and train other health and safety staff members and frequently travel to perform field investigations and respond to incident reports.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
1. To monitor incidents of injury, illness, and other situations within an assigned geographic area. 2. To write reports detailing health and safety within their assigned research market. 3. To design strategies and to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety. 4. To go into the field to investigate environmental accidents and other public safety concerns within their market. 5. To design training programs to provide safety awareness education. 6. To be able to give presentations about current safety hazards based on market research to educate others about avoiding health, safety, and environmental hazards. 7. To recruit and train new HSE crew members.
3. Competencies:

4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months
5. Approved Training Allowance: Fresh Graduates - $2500, Non-mature Mid-career Individuals - $2500, Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $3100
6. Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role Under SGUnited Traineeship:
This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Degree and above Qualification. Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
