Fluency in Chinese and English languages

Proven work experience as interpreter

Located in Singapore

Relevant certification or degree in interpretation or related field is a plus

Strong verbal communication and listening skills

Ability to remain neutral and professional in sensitive situations

Perfect time management skill

**Scope**

Translate English to Chinese and summarise web digital articles from English into Chinese written summary in a specific format.

**Requirements**:
Prior experience in freelance translation work

Attention to detail and some basic understanding of technical keyword terms and interpretation (briefing will be provided)

Good command of vernacular Chinese/ English required to perform the translation.

Able to commit long-term will be preferred

The assignment is usually 5 hours per assigned slot in the afternoon, starting 6:30am onwards.

Excellent knowledge of English (Mother tongue level is a must)

Extensive knowledge of Simplified Chinese

University degree or equivalent professional experience in the translation field

Minimum 1 year of localization experience

Professional affiliation is a plus
