**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- This position is for School of Social Sciences (SOSS).
- Marketing and Recruitment - Responsible for coordinating advertising and the overall recruitment efforts for a new Master programme by coursework that will cover traditional and digital marketing platforms.
- Formulate and implement marketing strategies in consultation with the Programme Director and relevant offices within the University to attract prospective students through traditional and digital media for the new programme.
- Responsible for the lead generation, nurturing, and conversion process of prospective students.
- Drive recruitment activities to meet admissions target with the specified quality, quantity, and diversity criteria.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as the Programme Director and instructors, and other business units such as the Offices for Corporate Communications and Marketing to develop and execute effective and efficient, marketing campaigns for the programme.
- Coordinate the design and production of all programme relevant marketing collaterals.
- Promote the programme at physical and virtual outreach events in Singapore and overseas, eg, information sessions, postgraduate education fairs, conferences, coffee session, visiting school talks, and others.
- Administration - Responsible for all aspects of recruitment, admission, programme delivery, graduation, budgeting, and reporting for the programme
- Plan and coordinate student orientation, including the handling of administrative and logístical arrangements.
- Serve as point of contact for tuition fee billing and financing related inquiries.
- Implement scholarship and student awards in accordance with the terms and conditions of the awards.
- Work closely with the Programme Director and School Administration to plan, manage and report on the programme budget and ensure compliance with SMU guidelines on procurement and financial matters.
- Manage the start-to-end programme processes including matriculation, course enrolment, degree progression, leave of absence, special requests, and graduation.
- Provide programme related advisement to the students and redirect them to relevant support services as required.
- Facilitate in the appointment of teaching assistants and secure relevant teaching resources, eg, classrooms and IT equipment, etc, to ensure smooth programme delivery.
- Coordinate field visits and partner agreements where appropriate.
- Prepare relevant programme information and statistics for review and reporting at the School and University level.
- Undertake programme and school administrative tasks as a member of a team.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree holder with strong marketing, project management and administrative skills.
- At least 5 years of work experience, preferably with at least 3 years of experience in marketing education products.
- Experienced in events management, and conventional and digital marketing.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to converse confidently and effectively with prospective students from different cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Proficient in spoken and written English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive, meticulous, organised and able to work well independently or in a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Willing to work weekends and travel within the region occasionally.
- Understanding of postgraduate programmes, familiarity with institutions of higher learning in Singapore, and/or strong sales/conversion track record would be a plus.
- Familiarity with the use of marketing and design software, e.g., Act-On, Adobe Photoshop, Canva would be advantageous.
- Conversant in the use of web and social media marketing platforms, e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter, and Google Ads.
