Boeing Commercial Airplanes and Boeing Singapore are looking for **Field Service Intro Representatives** located in Singapore. The focus of the position is to provide on-site new aircraft model introduction representation & technical support to customers worldwide.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Utilize multi-disciplined technical expertise & company knowledge to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of 787, 737 MAX, or 777 dispatch reliability and proficiency in the operation & maintenance of company products by investigating product problems, determining cause, and developing & implementing corrective action.
- Understand customer expectations and assist the customer in interpreting and using support data & documents, provide technical On-the-Job training of aircraft systems and Boeing products and services.
- Act as the on-site liaison between The Boeing Company & customer personnel of widely varying backgrounds.
- Work unsupervised for extended periods of time, in a wide variety of cultural & economic environments.
- Provide technical & operational product data to Boeing organizations.
- Extensive travel is required; multiple / continuous short-term assignments.
- Requires proven critical thinking and communication skills plus the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of managements and customers.
- Must be willing to work at any hour; any length of time; i.e. on-call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, as the job requires.
- Will be sent on multiple / continuous airplane introduction assignments ranging from 30-90 days and based in Singapore between assignments.
- Experience in 787, 737MAX, 777 and/or 747-8 Operations, Systems, Avionics, Engineering and/or Flight Test preferred. Experience in 767, 747, or other legacy models is desirable.
- Prior customer support experience desired.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**
- Must be willing to be on call 24x7 as required to support emergent airline customer requirements.
- Ability to travel frequently and obtain associated visas and required immunizations.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Must be willing to traveling approx 75% of the time, some times during consecutive assignments.
- Exhibit an outstanding customer service attitude. Be flexible to changing schedules and requirements.
- Minimum 6 years of related experiences is required.
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**
- Be able to travel for repeated short-term assignments.
- Be willing to accept back to back assignments both foreign and domestic.
- Recent experience in 787, 737MAX, or 777X Operations, Systems, Avionics, engineering and/or Flight Test preferred.
- Prefer prior experience in a Customer Support organization.
- Requires the ability to obtain a valid passport and be able to support local and international Travel of 75%. If clearances cannot be granted from the requisite international country, the result may be reassignment, reclassification or termination of deployment.
- Must be familiar with 787, 737 MAX systems, aircraft ramp environment, airline operations and aircraft troubleshooting.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
**Typical Education & Experience**
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor in Aerospace Engineering and/or Technology related majors, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, EASA B1/B2 or equivalent.) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' airline or OEM related work experience, etc.).
