DESIGNATION : Manager, Volunteer & Partnership (Volunteer Centre)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Grow and coordinate volunteer supply to the community partners
- Build volunteer management capabilities of the community partners
- Broker partnerships between demand and supply organizations at the town-level

The duties of the Manager, Volunteer & Partnership (Volunteer Centre) include:
**Planning and Operations**
- Develop and review operational strategies to recruit, deploy, train, and retain volunteers based on the community partners’ needs
- Regularly engage to review the needs of the partner organizations for volunteer support and in-kind donation
- Identify, drive and sustain effective partnerships with all stakeholders in the volunteer ecosystem
- such as the learning institutions, corporates, grassroots, public organizations, and social service agencies
- Curate and co-curate volunteering opportunities, programs and activities with partners to increase volunteer support in the partner organizations
- Plan and organize introductory meetings, follow-up meetings, networking sessions, and annual volunteer appreciation event
- Monitor and evaluate outcomes
- Identify emerging approaches, volunteerism trends, and the impact that will value add to the volunteer engagement strategies and approaches

**Marketing and Communication**
- Develop strategy and plans to market the volunteer center and volunteering opportunities to partners
- Plan, develop and manage all publicity efforts and communications to drive volunteer recruitment and community partnerships
- Provide editorial support for communication, collaterals, and materials

**Administrative Responsibilities**
- Develop annual project operation budget proposal and manage expenses within the budget
- Develop annual action plans and deliverables
- Manage and maintain the volunteer database and administrative documentation pertaining to the Volunteer Centre
- Submit monthly and quarterly statistical and progress report in a professional and timely manner

**Supervisory Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coach a small team of executives to achieve service excellence
- Develop staff development plans and key performance indicators
- Identify suitable training to develop staff

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in any discipline with 6-8 years of experience in volunteer and partnership engagement, people management, or strategic work
- 2 years of managerial experience supervising executives
- Experience working with grassroots (leaders, CCs, RC network, etc) is preferred
- Proficient in Google Workspace - Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Google Drive
- Proficient in social media and marketing skills is an added advantage
- Possess a proactive attitude, drive, and enthusiasm to carry out the projects to conclusion
- Strong leadership, problem-solving and strategic planning skills
- Resourceful, adaptable, and able to multi-task with a fast turnaround time
- Good communication skills both written and spoken
- Good collaborative and stakeholder management skills to work across disciplines and sectors
- Good interpersonal and people management skills to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Willing to travel around Singapore for work (mostly either around Serangoon/Bukit Merah area, depending on the center the staff is attached to)
