As an **Import Agent** for Buddha Overseas, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new import opportunities within the Singapore market for our agricultural commodities. This role is purely on **commission-based**, and you will earn a competitive commission based on the FOB (Free on Board) invoice value of each successful transaction. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong network and experience in the agricultural commodities sector or international trade.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identify potential importers, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers of agricultural commodities in Singapore.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the target market.
- Promote Buddha Overseas's range of agricultural products (e.g., Indian Black Pepper, Indian Wheat, Indian Wheat Flour).
- Negotiate terms of trade, including product specifications, quantities, and delivery timelines, in alignment with company guidelines.
- Assist in facilitating the import process, ensuring smooth coordination between importers and Buddha Overseas.
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients in Singapore and our company, ensuring their requirements and expectations are met.
- Provide regular updates and reports on market trends, customer feedback, and business opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in international trade, import/export, or business development in the agricultural commodities sector.
- Strong network of contacts within the Singapore market, specifically importers and distributors of agricultural products.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a commission-based role.
- Knowledge of Singapore import regulations and customs procedures is a plus.

**Commission Structure**:

- You will earn a **commission based on the FOB (Free on Board) invoice value** of each successful transaction. The commission will be calculated as a percentage of the total FOB value.
- There is no cap on earnings - the more successful transactions you secure, the higher your commission.
- Detailed commission rates and payment terms will be discussed during the interview process.
