**JOB SUMMARY**
Passionate in luxury hospitality and commitment to excellence, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in attracting targeted talent to aspire to be part of and grow their career with our Marriott luxury portfolio.
This position drives talent acquisition strategies, programs and processes focused on attracting, recruiting, and talent planning of Luxury talent to support the growth of the luxury portfolio across Asia Pacific excluding Greater China.
This leader reports to Senior Director, Talent Acquisition & Management Solutions, APEC and partners closely with the Luxury Managing Director & MPVPs, AVPs, ADHRs and Area teams on execution of talent strategies to develop robust luxury talent pipeline across the APEC portfolio.
**Expected Contributions**
**Talent Strategy**
- Partners with the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition & Management Solutions, APEC, to articulate an APEC luxury talent strategy to build a pipeline of leaders to support the growth and success of the luxury portfolio.
- Drives attraction, selection, and retention of diverse high caliber talent to consistently strengthen the organizational capabilities of the APEC luxury portfolio of hotels. Partner with the ADHRs, L&D and C&B leaders, and brand team to ensure the right tools and resources are in place to attract, develop and retain talent to the luxury segment.
- Lead analysis to assess the business talent pipeline needs across APEC to guide the development of talent strategies. Assess current talent pipeline and succession planning results against future needs to identify talents gaps; analyze demographic, industry, and internal market metrics and trends to determine impact on future staffing strategies.
- Establish feedback and measurement mechanisms to evaluate progress against key talent acquisition and talent management metrics, to assess the impact of initiatives, and to continuously identify and address areas of opportunity.
**Talent Acquisition**
- Partners with the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition & Management Solutions, APEC to develop a luxury Talent acquisition strategy for APEC and deploy annual talent acquisition plans based on luxury talent need forecast inclusive of:
- External talent mapping, sourcing and selection process for luxury positions. Ensure that enterprise-wide recruitment & selection processes align with talent strategies and support acquisition and retention of strong leadership bench.
- Relationship recruiting programs to proactively identify and pursue top external talent, including industry and company profiling, referral programs.
- Actively source and create talent pool for key positions and ensures appropriate proactive exploratory discussions with external talent to ensure appropriate visibility and engagement.
- Lead employer branding efforts for luxury brands to ensure they are best positioned to attract best luxury talent and engage talent pool.
- Drive international college relations strategy to attract early career talent to grow their career in our luxury portfolio through executive of Voyage global management trainee program and international internship programs; review processes and initiatives to engage and retain.
**Talent Workforce Planning**
- Partners with the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition & Management Solutions, APEC to drive HCP and workforce planning process focusing on luxury brand to facilitate the identification, placement, development and retention of key talent and ensure robust succession plans for key positions.
- Act as the gatekeeper of the process for luxury GMs and key ExCom/Guidance Team positions.
- Support luxury GM and key ExCom human capital planning efforts, facilitating talent discussions to develop broad base knowledge of the talent and potential talent gaps in the luxury portfolio.
- Surface ready talent for global mobility.
- Partner with L&D on the execution and ongoing enhancement of LuxU; monitors program participants development, retention and career progression.
**Experience**
- 10+ years of human resources experience at management level.
- Work experience in human resources areas such as talent acquisition, talent management, performance management and coaching.
- Experience both on and above property across multiple markets is preferred.
- Familiarity and experience in a global environment highly desired.
**Education or Certification**
- College degree required. Advanced degree in human resources or business-related field preferred
