Asean Trade Product Manager

The ASEAN Trade Product Manager is a TTS Product Management role responsible for general product management with an emphasis on managing a complex geographical and product offering framework, strong risk and controls environment in order to support the strategic goal of creating a strong value proposition and sustainable business growth. The role will report to ASEAN Trade Head.

**Key Responsibilities**:
The role will involve the following:

- Support sustainable growth in ASEAN Trade business across Citi ICG corporate, financial institution and commodity client base through effective execution of our strategy and management of our diverse product set, the portfolio, its governance, risks and controls.
- Work closely with trade product and sales teams across ASEAN to monitor and support revenue and asset growth, ensuring optimal portfolio pricing.
- Play an active role in alignment across the key stakeholders in the countries i.e. Banking, TTS Sales, Risk, Compliance, O&T, legal and financial controllers in the countries as it relates to commercialization of trade products.
- Help drive our trade digitization strategy. Increase adoption of the use of our platform and expand our solution to more countries and broader client segment set. Lead the agenda for participation in select industry and bank led consortiums and potential Fintech partnership across ASEAN.
- Design and develop the ESG framework across ASEAN including short term green trade loans, SCF and documentary trade business.
- Develop an ASEAN wide strategy to leverage the supply chain led disruptions and capitalize these opportunities in select ASEAN markets.
- Help manage our existing Product Program,, work with the country and global product management teams to renew approvals annually
- Collaboration with trade partners in the regional/globe to expand and grow cross-regional Trade for ASEAN clients.
- Fostering a strong "one team" mentality across various Trade product & sales teams to maximize collaboration, cross-sell & build team spirit in ASEAN across a broad and culturally diverse team.
- Building a strong partnership with the Trade Implementation and Operations teams and constantly seeking ways to improve Trade efficiency, turnaround times and ensuring we minimize operational losses/errors.
- Building strong partnership with the trade risk distribution to help Trade effectively manage its balance sheet, individual credit exposures and increase skim revenues.
- Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
- Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics
