The position forms part of the Allainz Trade ASEAN Surety team, you will contribute to the achievement of profitable and sustainable growth under Allianz Trade’s Asia Pacific Surety strategy.

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Surety Underwriter to support an existing portfolio of ASEAN based clients and to develop and manage a new business pipeline utilising a broad commercial understanding of corporate clients and knowledge of the surety product

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for account management of existing portfolio of clients including, relationship management, facility renewal and risk monitoring, documentation.
- Responsible for developing and converting a new business pipeline.
- Execute commercial strategy in line with Allianz Trade’s new business thresholds to grow the ASEAN surety portfo-lio.
- Preparation and issuance of bonds and risk participations with banks.
- Liaise with internal partners including finance, claims and risk teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners, including but not limited to brokers, banks, lawyers etc.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders including Allianz,, other Allianz Trade Surety BU’s and Allianz Trade’s Global Surety Team.
- Responsible for investigation, analyzing, and managing all necessary underwriting/accounting/work flow issues, within framework of Surety policies and procedures.
- Provide timely, regular and accurate reporting and monitoring of client portfolio.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum 3 year’s experience in relevant roles including account management, sales management, and senior risk analysis roles.
- University degree in Business, Finance or related field.
- Experienced professional in the financial services industry with a background in structuring and managing finan-cial transactions in a market facing role.
- Proven track record of successful experience in structuring or analysing of, transactions with large corporations.
- Strong risk analysis skills and experience in writing high level surety submission.
- Proactive and creative in execution of business strategy in a corporate environment.
- Strong communication, presentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to analyze and negotiate legal documentation, act as liaison with corporate legal counsel.
