Job Summary:

This role is within the Product-Non Motor team. As an Executive, Product-Non Motor, you will work with a team of professionals and be responsible for supporting the underwriting process.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessment, evaluation, and provide terms for Construction & Engineering insurances such as Contractors' All Risks, Erection All Risks, and Surety Bond within your delegated underwriting authority and company guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external business partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide technical advice and support to other business units.
  • Attend client/producer meetings and conduct product training for external partners and internal staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or Insurance.
  • At least 2 years of relevant underwriting experience in Commercial Lines insurance, especially in Contractors' All Risks, Erection All Risks, and Surety Bond.
  • Actively pursuing professional insurance designations such as ACII/AAII or equivalent is preferred.
  • Knowledge of interpreting financial statements.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and multi-faceted software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with brokers, agents, clients, and internal teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
