**SCOPE OVERVIEW**
- Routine procedural issues and identifying and assimilating new and revised standards.
- Program structure and linesetting, gains an understanding of the company's capacities, the use of the reinsurance placement, rating and pricing, analysis of coverages, terms and conditions, value analysis and documentation practices.
- To maintain an up-to-date knowledge of company underwriting standards, policy forms and coverages, and loss prevention practices.
- Involved in all occupancies with special focus on Offshore accounts encompassing all of South Asia and Pacific.
- Assist with the growth for the local and offshore property risks.
- Executing Underwriting activities and strategies both at local and regional level to achieve both top and bottom line in accordance with prevailing company’s underwriting and treaty guidelines.
- Executing an efficient end to end underwriting process and ensuring that the policies are issued in compliance with underwriting guidelines and MAS requirements on data Entry and Accuracy, underwriting details and acceptance limit.
- Providing technical advice and support to business units in the respective class of business.
- Negotiate policy terms and coverages to align with the company directives.
