Strategy and Planning
- Effectively manage the Team Leaders and Relationship/Portfolio Managers in the CVE & PM Teams.
- Management of key account relationships in the Small Business portfolio and identify key accounts for upsell/upgrade to respective SB/ME/MC business segments via structured x-selling and customer relationship management activities.
Business Performance and Management
- Meet team targets by growing and defending existing portfolio, solicit for new business/product opportunities to grow customer wallet size with focus on increasing assets deposits balances, NII/NOII income.
- Cross selling of our Bank’s suite of products and regional network.
- To lead initiatives for Regional business corridors
- Ensure accounts under care covering both borrowing & non-borrowing client relationships are managed in accordance to relevant policies and procedures as per Bank standards.
- Ensure accounts under care are managed in adherence to compliance guidelines, statutory compliance and regulations.
- Engage in other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time.
People Management
- Provide leadership coaching as line manager to team leaders of CVE & PM team.
- Recruit and coach support for new joiners to familiarize them with their job function. Motivates team members to achieve sales targets.
- Communicating business strategy, team goals and identify areas for new training or skill checks
- Assess staff performance and keep management updated on team performance and identify potential individuals for career progression
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure proper and timely submission of CDD reviews, adherence to compliance guidelines, statutory compliance and regulations
- Ensuring portfolio quality, monitoring and meet lending product program parameters of lending accounts in the small business segment.
