[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Disabilities/Special Needs & Youth Work in the School of Humanities & Social Sciences.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Curriculum development, course delivery (face-to-face/online) and project supervision for **youth and adult learners **in the following areas:

- Managing Disabilities / Special Needs
- Behaviour Management & Intervention
- Programme Development
- Youth & Technology
- Youth Work Management
- Play for Wellness
- Lead and identify new opportunities, initiatives and collaborations with the industry, institutes of higher learnings & related agencies
- Keep abreast with latest trends and developments in the areas of disabilities, special needs and youth work
- Handle administrative work relating to teaching and assigned projects

[What we are looking for]
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or equivalent
- Direct experience and keen interest in child development and/or youth mentoring
- An agile team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Project/time management and attention to detail
