Lead Process Engineer

**About the Role**:
Due to continued growth, Anergy has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Process Engineer in Singapore. You will be joining a diverse team of individuals who are passionate about what they do, a team with a proven track record in guiding our clients and leading delivery of our unique HTP (High Temperature Pyrolysis) technology.

As the Lead Process Engineer, you will lead and develop the process engineering function, oversee the design and implementation of our company engineering process strategies and workflows, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents for each project. Projects will vary in complexity and size and range across the full cycle from concept to commissioning or standalone equipment design.

The role will require addressing challenging technical problems, which may require ingenuity and creativity. Close collaboration with the engineering design and procurement team members and the project managers are essential. The role will involve close and regular interface with senior management to review and report on project and program milestones as well as overall performance metrics on a timely basis will be required and essential.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the timely delivery of hands-on engineering tasks including the development and maintenance of internal standards and work practices, taking accountability of process engineering deliverables across multiple projects from development of conceptual process design through to project completion
- Responsible for managing and completing the process engineering and design for each project within budget and planning including change control and consistency of the process engineering and design with the other disciplines
- Review and approve engineering design estimates, control and report all costs on allocated projects in terms of progress, scope change and man hours
- Lead/ participate in internal and external design reviews and responsible for the design acceptance by the client
- Serve as the key contact point for the engineering design team across all Anergy products and projects in process engineering design work
- Lead projects in a multidisciplinary environment and be capable or coordinating all process engineering and design, with the other disciplines and functions
- Collaborate and support project management and procurement teams on design status, project progress and issue resolutions and technical queries
- Produce and organize engineering documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) and process control philosophies
- Lead, develop, organize and build process engineering team to take on higher level work
- Support ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned

**Profile we are looking for**:
The position would suit a highly experienced and well motivated Chemical or Process Engineer with high level technical skills, who can be relied upon to get the details and workflow correct. The role will require a lateral thinker who enjoys the technical challenge and innovative agenda the business pursues.
- Degree or higher Qualification in Chemical Engineering
- Minimum 15 years relevant process engineering experience
- Strong technical aptitude to understand technical drawings, documents, and specification
- Experience in process plant structural, mechanical and piping design desirable
- Exposure to thermal and materials handling equipment such as kilns, heaters and screw conveyors desirable
- Experience developing and owning engineering reports, creating and documenting, engineering calculations, summary reports advantageous
- Good understanding and knowledge of standard international specifications and codes
- Experience leading and developing teams of process engineers on projects or line management desirable
- High technical fluency with ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
- Ability to work effectively in a small, developing, and entrepreneurial organization
- High integrity and ethics and a collaborative work attitude
- Strong relationship building skills, especially building relationships across a dispersed team
