We are now expanding our strategic research team to include an individual with strong commodity trading experience, market analysis skills, and an eye for innovation. This is a remote role ideal for someone who can combine strategic thinking with market-savvy research in global trade, security, and new tech.

Key Responsibilities:

- ⁠ ⁠Research and track trends in commodity markets (metals, energy, agri, etc.) and how they intersect with technology and innovation.
- ⁠ ⁠Identify new business opportunities, startups, and innovations that align with our industry focus areas.
- ⁠ ⁠Monitor global trends, market dynamics, and investment flows in commodities and security/tech sectors.
- ⁠ ⁠Conduct due diligence on potential partners, products, business models, and investment value.
- ⁠ ⁠Evaluate and propose strategic partnerships in both commodity and tech spaces.
- ⁠ ⁠Maintain a pipeline of innovative companies and trade-related opportunities.
- ⁠ ⁠Prepare reports and decks summarizing key insights and recommendations.
- ⁠ ⁠Support outreach and relationship-building with relevant stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- ⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- ⁠ ⁠2+ years of experience in commodity trading, research, or business development.
- ⁠ ⁠Knowledge of trading platforms, market movements, pricing analysis, and trading risk assessments.
- ⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and research skills, with a strategic mindset.
- ⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- ⁠ ⁠Experience with innovation scouting or partnerships is a bonus.
- ⁠ ⁠Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setup.
