The Head of Accelerator Programme is responsible for designing, developing and executing Firemark Accelerate on behalf of IAG. The role is the first point of contact for Firemark Accelerate’s start-up Founders, key partners and stakeholders. This refers to both internal stakeholders from IAG as well as external partners from the start-up, insurance and larger corporate and government ecosystems across Australia, Singapore as well as the wider APAC market.

This role works cross functionally across all teams in the Collective, particularly Product, UX/UI, Engineering and Data Science.

**About the role
Launched in 2020, Firemark Accelerate has successfully concluded four Seasons and graduated 28 start-ups. The programme lays the foundations for start-ups to land and expand into new markets, find potential partners and investors, and test their insurance use cases with Australia and New Zealand’s largest general insurer, IAG. Most importantly, the 12-week programme prepares the start-ups to become corporate ready. Offering a unique tailored approach, catering to a start-ups individual business model, goals, and needs we are ready for our next evolution of the programme to become the **Globally Leading InsurTech Accelerator.
**Key accountabilities
- Lead and develop Engagement Lead team members, supporting their growth and commitment to the programme
- Lead development of Firemark Accelerate’s long-term strategy to ensure the programme delivery outcomes are aligned to IAG core competencies and focus areas
- Lead recruitment of all future Seasons of Firemark Accelerate with a clear approach that is aligned to IAG’s strategic focus areas. This includes defining the challenge statements and focus areas that then help to inform the overall recruitment strategy
- Lead and manage end-to-end programme delivery and execution by ensuring recruitment, strategy and governance procedures are set and aligned
- Support Firemark Accelerate Engagement Lead team during each season to ensure successful delivery to the strategic roadmap
- Lead and manage relationship and strategic engagement with all of Firemark Accelerate’s mentor and operational partners
- Lead and manage all internal legal and governance requirements to ensure programme is executed and aligned to all IAG’s internal policies and procedures
- Support all follow on activity with start-ups from previous seasons, including leading and managing the Alumni programme once each Season has graduated from Firemark Accelerate
- Lead and foster relationship and engagement with Australian Government and Austrade Landing Pad in Singapore
- Lead and foster relationships with all programme partners from the insurance and VC/CVC world that help to support programme execution and start-up roadmaps
- Expand and enhance the Accelerate Programme to be recognised as a world leading

Lead the design and implementation of an internal Accelerate Programme, including rebrand

**Required experience & skill requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in and/or with start-ups or relevant experience working in Accelerator programmes
- Experience in strategic partnerships in the start-up and technology sector
- Deep understanding and existing network relationships across the Singapore insurance and innovation ecosystem (e.g. start-ups, Tech companies, venture capitalists, insurers, Australian Government, MNCs etc.)
- Demonstrated track record of delivery in highly ambiguous environments
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships
