The Head of Platforms and Data Services is responsible for driving the consistency and progress across key "must win" areas as part of the overall Digital Transformation goals across Platforms, Onboarding, Data and Global Billing System (GBS) for Singapore & ASEAN markets. This includes leadership of the Digital strategy for the Treasury & Trade Services business across Singapore & ASEAN markets. A core part of this is leading the development and commercialization of Digital product suite and driving the digital transformation initiatives. The role will work with regional and global product teams, country Heads from Sales, Product, Relationship, Technology, Operations, Service, Legal, and Compliance functions, as well as global support teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the Singapore & ASEAN Platform and Data Services team which includes Onboarding, Citi’s eBanking platforms (CitiDirect, CitiConnect Host to Host, API), Data & Analytics from product’s perspective.
- Manage a team of professional to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as negotiate and make decisions on issues/activities having critical impact/influence on company revenues, capital, or business operations
- Lead client and competitor market research, feedback into the product development roadmap, and conduct client pilots to create a robust set of solutions in line with client and market demand.
- Develops 3-5-year product strategy and execution roadmap with a transformational change plan and manage investment prioritization in Singapore & ASEAN for Platform and Data Services.
- Drives customer segmentation, product positioning, pricing, and marketing plans for each client segment. Explores products / propositions addressing clients’ end to end needs, including services with respect to pre and post onboarding.
- Execute the strategic digital roadmap in a cross functional setting and drive excellency in client experience (as evidenced in client feedback) through product enhancements and process reengineering.
- Be the voice of customers, ensuring client, country / cluster feedback is thematically baked into the global product roadmap, strategy, and design, enabling best-in-class client experience.
- Steer the direction of strategic initiatives and commercialize Citi's Platforms and Data services products for Singapore & ASEAN markets
- Lead the marketing campaigns to launch Digital capabilities and drive adoption across Singapore & ASEAN user base, together with Sales, Banking and Service partners.
- Partner closely with regional product managers, country product managers and functional partners, including Technology, Testing, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, other Product organizations, Channel Readiness, Client Operations, Activations, and Implementations to ensure buy-in on strategies and approach, and to deliver on time, high quality product
- Keep abreast of the current market and industry trends, defines strategic opportunities for and drive potential partnerships/alliances with Fin-tech partners for last mile connectivity and conductivity.
- Design and manage product communications including external and internal feature announcements, reference materials, press releases, and adoption campaigns, in partnership with marketing & countries.
- Work closely with compliance and legal partners to rollout new products in accordance with Local regulations, laws & guidelines.
- Be the ambassador of our products, proactively promoting our brand awareness both internally and externally through various channels.
- Drive data product rollout in Singapore and ASEAN markets, in collaboration with regional and global data partners and TTS business stakeholders.
- Define, develop, and execute AI/ML use cases in partnership with global analytics team that are aligned with TTS business priorities and strategies.
- Develops products with attractive and sustainable P&Ls (Revenue, Expense, Net Income Plan and Operating Efficiency) and analyzes product profitability, competition and positioning in the market and proactively drive initiatives to maintain Citi’s leadership position.
- Establish a dynamic management and communication process between regional product management team and country/cluster partners with clear roles & responsibilities and ensures alignment between Product team and functional partners (such as Operations, Technology, TTS Sales, Finance, Legal, In Business Risk, Independent Risk, Compliance/AML, Sanctions Compliance and other)
- Attract, motivate, and retain top talent. Focus on building bench strength. Create a high performing team through strong leadership skills and practices. Establish and maintain optimal organizational and headcount structure and reporting relationships for accomplishment of product group’s financial and strategic objectives.
