The team will lead on the optimisation of resource across people, finances and architectural principles to ensure the Dyson IT teams are focused on the right things at the right time and in the right order.

The team lead on enabling and co-ordinating cross pillar activity, at all levels in IT, to ensure consistency of process and outcome is achieved, particularly around service management best practice.

**About you**
- The Technical Specialist - Cloud Centre of Excellence is an SME in their area of technology with 5+ years in designing, building and implementing cloud solutions. The expectation is that they are 50% on-hands (building) and 50% hands-off (designing).
- You will have a deep understanding on the CI/CD process using Bitbucket, Terraform, Ansible and Jenkins for cloud platform deployments and management of AWS services. The ability to extend the CI/CD pipeline across multi-cloud (GCP) is desirable.
- The Technical Specialist, reporting to the Global Cloud Centre of Excellence Lead, will be responsible for:

- Developing and supporting Dyson’s Cloud Centre of Excellence function across multiple platforms and architectures in their given area of expertise.
- Act as the SME for Dyson Cloud Platform, overseeing all deployments to AWS and performing the maintenance and enhancements of the Core Services and Shared Services components in AWS and GCP.
- They work alongside the Cloud Architect to produce the Detailed Design / Low Level Design (LLD) documents that will be reused as the reference architecture across all Dyson’s Cloud environments.
- Providing support in the areas of IT Strategy, Operating Model and Infrastructure support for the platform
- Undertake analysis of technical issues, translating the analysis into technical designs that describe a solution and how to implement to fix the technical issues
- Works alongside the other Centre of Excellence's and IT pillar functions to ensure solutions align to patterns, tooling, standards and policies.
