**Key Responsibilities**:

- Participates to TTH regional morning meetings
- Is responsible for planning and overseeing all HNC Taste regional projects from ideation through to completion.
- For complex projects, initiates project kick-off, defines project charter and project scope, defines with project team the project plan to achieve target outcome, establishes a communication plan (team meetings, stakeholder information, Steer Co’s )
- Lead and manage the Regional Taste Expertise from a Technical and Business Development perspective.
- Together with the regional HNC segment leads and GMBD counterparts, build, tailor & deploy the TTH and HNC relevant Taste technologies in line with the global segment strategies and the key segment markets needs
- Ensure tastings are done in a safe and controlled environment following established protocols
- Connect on a regular basis with local communities (incl SAL) and HNC Taste Global Technical lead to share needs and knowledge and report back to Global Tech HNC Taste Lead
- Continuously develop and maintain Taste expertise by delivering up to date tools that can be shared internally and with clients
- With the regional HNC SAL, assess the results throughout the year (quaterly review of business sales/vitality KPI's) and contribute to highlight the category needs for future strategy reviews and alignments, take corrective actions and share, promote and leverage successes.
- Build efficient working relationships with Sales, Application, Creation, Marketing, Collection Management, Sensory, other dsm-firmenich groups and relevant external partners to achieve the objectives.
- Lead technical execution of self-assigned HNC Taste relevant briefs by using and leveraging product and client knowledge
- Develop new flavors solutions answering client’s needs and to provide a high technical support to clients thanks to a deep product knowledge.
- Nuture productive customer relationships
- Position dsm-firmenich as the flavor supplier to count on for competitive added value market knowledge, brand understanding, winning flavors and technologies.
- Ensures strong storytelling to strengthen the submission and build trust with the client. Prepare and deliver client's technical presentations linked to HNC Taste relevant briefs in partnership with corresponding AM
- Acts and be considered as the Taste expert in the HNC region (e.g demonstrate a thorough understanding of Taste technologies, processes and tools)
- Be an active sponsor and participate to the regional HNC leadership meetings.
- Acts as one key Technical point of contact at regional level for HNC Taste regarding Key Global Strategic topics
- Support the Regional deployment of the Global Client TTH Facing Programs and Tonalities from a Technical perspective across all HNC segments
- Execute independantly the technical coordination of regional HNC Taste briefs
- Co-lead the technical coordination of New Joint Concepts for HNC Taste regionally and the direct support for relevant Key strategic clients and projects
- Ensure efficient projects execution and drive the project team towards efficiency and accountability.
- Develop new food or beverages formulations based on industrial standards and country / client specific requirements
- Establish/run new protocols to evaluate the stability of developed solutions or laboratory equipment
- Evaluate new raw materials
- Respect good laboratory practices following established HSE rules*Monitors project progresses and defines corrective actions if deviating from plan
- Defines with team submission validation and guides team towards the solution (e.g. Sensory test, Consumer test)
- Ensure that post mortem analysis are conducted on key projects lost and won in order to take corrective actions, leverage best practices and improve hit-rate.
