Software Technical Lead

You will co-lead a team of 4 engineers, in collaboration and partnership with another senior software developer.

**Responsibilities**:

- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of four engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality code development.
- Architecture and Design: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions. Design and review architectural patterns, system components, and database schema.
- DevSecOps Implementation: Lead the implementation and integration of DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle. Automate security testing, code analysis, and deployment processes to ensure a secure and streamlined delivery pipeline.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective collaboration and communication within the team and across departments. Coordinate with product managers, test engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimizations. Collaborate with test engineers to plan and execute comprehensive test strategies.
- Technical Research and Innovation: Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Explore and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to improve the team's productivity and the overall software development process.

**Skills**:

- Proven experience in leading and mentoring software engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and hands-on experience with relevant tools and technologies, such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and containerization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, delivering software in iterative cycles with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery.
