**Job Summary**
- The Head of AI Solutions is a strategic leadership role at Standard Chartered Bank, suited for an experienced CTO and Generative AI expert with a track record of delivering transformative solutions in regulated industries. Reporting to the Global Head of AI, you will drive AI innovation globally, leveraging your expertise in production-grade GenAI, ethical AI deployment, and regulatory compliance.This role will shape the bank’s AI-driven competitiveness across 60+ countries, leveraging your proven success in regulated environments to lead transformative innovation.

**Strategic Leadership & Innovation**
- Define and execute an AI strategy integrating ML and GenAI across the bank
- Collaborate with heads of departments and business units to deeply understand their needs, co-developing tailored solutions and capabilities that address critical priorities and deliver measurable value.
- Identify high-value Machine Learning use cases balancing innovation and compliance
- Implement enterprise RAG solutions and agentic AI workflows to deliver measurable business outcomes

**Technical Architecture & Delivery**
- Design scalable, reliable and secure ML infrastructure
- Establish reusable GenAI architecture patterns to accelerate solution delivery
- Implement ML & AI governance and observability for reliable, hallucination-free systems

**AI Governance & Risk Management**
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and cybersecurity standards
- Build trustworthy AI with hallucination prevention and validation
- Implement LLMOps frameworks for observability and model evaluation
- Set governance standards for generative AI in banking

**Team Leadership & Development**
- Hire, mentor, and develop world class technical talent in AI and data
- Partner with business, compliance, and tech teams to prioritize AI use cases
- Tailor communication for diverse stakeholders, leveraging product strategy expertise
- Ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment, managing distributed teams.

**Skills & Experience**
- 15+ years as a CTO or senior tech leadership in AI roles
- Success delivering GenAI products in regulated industries
- Experience scaling AI platforms with measurable impact, AI governance, and cybersecurity
- Proven experience delivering software products to the enterprise / SaaS product launches
- Proven team-building and stakeholder communication skills
- Multinational and executive-level stakeholder management
