Exchange Technical Account Manager, Singapore

In our global data business, we're responsible for supplying the data. Our content acquisition and business management team (CABM) is all about capturing and integrating data to provide our customers with the information they need. The department is comprised of several teams including pricing, research, exchanges, client service, and contract team. We onboard an incredible amount of content so imperative that it is discoverable, compliant, efficient, and compliments other Bloomberg products.

We are looking for a highly creative and motivated individual to work in the exchange data & business team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment to deliver the highest quality real-time data to our customers across all asset classes such as equities, derivatives, commodities & fixed income.

Our primary responsibility is developing real-time market data feeds from exchanges. This includes leading projects, building relationships, solving challenging problems for clients, and exploring business opportunities with the exchanges. You will be responsible for all exchange products across APAC, and we will trust you to translate exchange documentation and technical specifications into a business deliverable for new exchange data on Bloomberg by managing projects in conjunction with technical project managers, software engineering, and business stakeholders. Last but not least, you are our overall escalation point for any issues with exchange market data which will require you to acquire deeper knowledge regarding exchange-provided products and how they impact our clients and their workflows.

**We"ll trust you to**:

- Lead projects, build relationships, solve challenging problems for clients, and explore business opportunities with the exchanges to develop real-time market data feeds
- Manage all real-time market data feeds from the exchanges across APAC, working closely with Sales, Software Engineering, Networks, Enterprise Solutions and exchanges to ensure the successful delivery of exchange products to Bloomberg customers
- Translate exchange documentation and technical specifications into a business deliverable for new exchange data on Bloomberg by managing projects in conjunction with technical project managers, software engineering, and business stakeholders
- Be the overall escalation point for any issues with exchange market data by acquiring deeper knowledge regarding exchange provided products and how they impact our clients and their workflows
**You"ll need to have**:

- A bachelor's degree, preferably with combined studies in Information Systems and Finance, or related business and STEM fields
- 3-5 years of technical support or technical project management experience in the financial market, ideally from banks, exchanges or financial technology companies
- Demonstrated knowledge of FIX connectivity/FIX protocol and other message protocols, including TCP and MITCH
- 3-5 years of work experience with real-time market data feed
- Ability to discuss deep technical concepts and find technical solutions, evaluate trade-offs and devise innovative solutions with the exchanges to improve and deliver quality real-time data to our customers
- Shown ability to collaborate with global/regional teams to deliver high-quality data products
- Comfort with a high degree of autonomy, and shown ability in managing priorities from multiple internal and external partners
- Strong project management, writing, presentation & organizational skills
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
