**SGX Spring Internship Programme (Jan - Jun 2025, Full-Time only)**

**Data services - Platform Analytics**:
**Brief Overview**:
In Platform Analytics team, we leverage quantitative skills to derive analytical data insights for key decision making on market development.

**Learning Objectives**:

- Develop a good understanding of equities and equity derivatives exchange business
- The ins and outs of equities products and their relevance to capital markets
- The dynamics of trade activities performed by various market participants
- Relate academic knowledge in real world capital markets

- Visualize data to provide key statistics for market pulse monitoring

Technical
- Passion in data analytics
- Solid programming skills in Python and SQL
- Visualisation experience in Tableau
- Knowledge of data structure and database

- Commitment of 6-12-month fulltime internship

**Data Services - Market Data**:
**Brief Overview**:
Market Data team is within Data Services function. The selected intern will be part of will be tasked with different assignments to provide the intern an opportunity to broaden his/her learning different aspects of the Exchange business and more specifically in the market data domain. This internship will provide learnings in business processes but will also include insights to product development and delivery cycle, sales and account management via proactive support of the team.
The following is the job profile and areas of focus for this internship:

- Business process improvement
- Revamp / organize / housekeep client records
- Review and recommend a more efficient and transparent process of management reporting of business updates e.g. through creation of dashboards
- To collate, reconcile and create a database of SGX’s subscription to vendor services
- Research and benchmarking of market data services and products
- Any other tasks related to business process improvements
- Support of sales and account management
- Set up of client records
- Bring a fresh perspective to marketing collaterals
- Support to organize events
- Any other tasks related to the support of sales and account management activities
- Product development and delivery
- Research and benchmarking of market data services and products
- Any other tasks related to the support of sales and account management activities

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**
- Good command of English (Mandarin would be a much added bonus)
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Basic background in programming e.g. python
- Creative but also detail and process oriented
