A well funded Series-A technology start-up in Singapore, backed by tier-1 VCs redefining the e-commerce experience across Southeast Asia and India, raising the standard for how companies of all sizes sell their products and services online and off.

They’re looking for a **Head of Engineering **with strong experience with remote teams. You’ll lead some of the most talented software engineers and drive our technical direction and be the driving force behind delivery. You will be hands-on and technically focused on making sure our product improves from a business and technical perspective. Apart from being in direct contact with tech team leads, you will also be working with cross functional teams, cooperating with CEO, Head of Product, planning the roadmaps, and everything else to push our engineering function further.

**Responsibilities**
- You will lead a team of strong remote engineering talent to build exciting e-commerce products focused on South East Asia and the World.
- You will be responsible for setting and ensuring product related KPI delivery.
- You will work directly with the Head of Product and CEO to define the product backlog.
- As a result, you and your team's work will make a difference to millions of people across the region
**Qualifications**
- 8+ years of active architecture, software design, engineering, and implementation experience in a complex and fast-moving product company or scaled start-ups
- Excellent communication skills at all levels and proven ability to articulate customer and technical requirements with all stakeholders
- Strong experience as a backend or fullstack software engineer.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong expertise in modern tech stacks and must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management in the aggregator/platform space
- A track record of building successful (preferably e-commerce) products using data, customer feedback, and modern trends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15,000.00 - $22,000.00 per month
