Telenor Procurement Company (TPC), established in 2017 and headquartered in Singapore, operates as a subsidiary of the Telenor Group. We deliver Global Category Management as a service to the Telenor Business Units, taking full responsibility for the end-to-end Sourcing process and performance of global spend categories. Functioning as one Global Procurement team across all Telenor markets, we enable Telenor’s strategic ambitions by becoming a centre of expertise in the pursuit of efficient operations. TPC seeks qualified procurement professionals that are comfortable working in a global setup in the fast-paced Telecom field.

**About the Role**

As the Category Manager for RAN, Networks,** **you will be part of the TPC Networks Sourcing team and will report to the Director, Head of RAN Category. You will work closely with both corporate in Telenor and all of the Business Units. As the RAN Category Manager, you will be working closely with the entire RAN category team by deeply understand the company vision, goals and objectives with a holistic strategy development, including sourcing execution, contract negotiation, as well as supplier management processes. Your role is pivotal in identifying and analyzing in overall RAN commercial aspect including cost saving initiatives and contract improvement, negotiating with the strategic supplier that deliver real business value in the category across all of Telenor’s Business Units and Customer.

**Main tasks include**:

- Contracting especially in commercial principle/cost model related (research, reading/interpreting, drafting/redlining, working with legal)
- Negotiations (driving stakeholder alignment, delivering/exchange of offers, reading/creating leverage points, creating Issues Lists, escalation)
- Collaborate with team member and other user departments for preparing and executing the strategy, innovative analysis and proactively addressing procurement needs
- Manage, lead and Support Category into Company business’s topic in Procurement As A Services (PaaS) that deliver value in the procurement of goods and services for the company
- Understand supply market and perform thorough commercial model strategies for the category
- Stakeholder Management in Telenor group functions and the business units.
- Ensure compliance to procurement policies and compliance
- Lead and Project manage the value creation strategy and process, including provide support to Category Managers, Specialists and Procurement teams in business units

- Detailed understanding of Contractual concepts and clauses and be able to correlate the contractual obligations with performance of scope of work

**Qualification and Experience Requirements**
- Bachelor degree in Technology, Finance or Business or equivalent. MBA will be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in a procurement / contract management / vendor management role preferably with experience in Telecom
