**Your key responsibilities**:

- Transaction Management: Monitor and oversee the end-to-end processing of trades, cash movements, foreign exchange, and other client instructions.
- Client Support: Provide operational support to Relationship Managers, ensuring timely and accurate execution of client transactions and resolution of any operational issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement process enhancements to improve turnaround times, minimize errors, and optimize the client experience. Continuously review operational workflows for efficiency improvements.
- Reconciliation & Controls: Oversee daily reconciliations of cash, securities, and positions. Ensure robust control frameworks are in place to mitigate operational risk.
- Payments: Ensure payments are processed accurately, timely and meet compliance requirements. Act as escalation point for payment delays and errors.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular operational reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics, issues, and process improvements.
- Project Management: Lead or support operational initiatives, technology upgrades, and regulatory change projects impacting the private banking middle office.
- Training & Leadership: Mentor and develop middle office staff, promoting a high-performance, client-centric culture. Assign tasks, monitor team performance and conduct regular performance reviews.

**Your skills and experience**:

- 7-10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or related operations roles.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, trade lifecycle and private banking products.
- An individual with team management experience; a team leader who can multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment, appreciate diversity and follow through assignments within tight schedules.
- Degree majoring in Banking, Accountancy or Business Administration or related discipline.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Leadership skills and experience managing teams.
- Proficiency with core banking systems and operations platforms (e.g., Avaloq)

Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
