VP/AVP, Trust Manager, Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group at DBS Bank. The role administers and manages a portfolio of about 60 bespoke private trust structures, partnering Private Trust Operations and working closely with relationship managers to deliver client-centric trust administration services.

DBS Private Banking offers a one-stop, full-service touch-point for total banking requirements with high-quality, timely wealth management and financial solutions. DBS Fiduciary Services – Private Trust provides trustee services to DBS Private Bank and Treasures Private Clients, focusing on protecting, managing and distributing trust assets across generations in the clients' best interests.

• Review and ensure new trust application documents meet onboarding requirements for establishment of new private trust structures and private investment companies
• Review trust deeds, legal and tax opinions to ensure proper administration of complex/customised trust structures and ensure compliance with requirements
• Review asset injections and verify source of funds to satisfy AML/CFT due diligence
• Attend to distributions to beneficiaries and discharge fiduciary duty while satisfying AML/CFT due diligence
• Attend to requests for variations to letters of wishes and preparing revised letters of wishes
• Attend to changes of beneficiaries and prepare supplemental deeds
• Periodically review trust records for accuracy and currency
• Periodically review trust structures to ensure AML/CFT ongoing monitoring is satisfied
• Review annual financial statements for private trusts and private investment companies for accuracy
• Meet clients to conduct trust reviews and identify actions needed to address changing client needs
• Handle ad-hoc transaction requests, liaise with professionals, assess and implement actions to bring transactions to completion
• Assess and ensure proper discharge of the trustee's fiduciary duty in management and administration
• Ensure all legal/regulatory and AML/CFT due diligence requirements are satisfied
• Highlight issues and non-compliance to relevant parties and management
• Stay informed of legal and regulatory developments impacting private trust structures and ensure compliance
• Coach and guide junior trust managers and Private Trust Operations officers

• Bachelor degree (preferably in Accountancy or Law) with 8–10 years' experience in private trust administration, including complex/customised private trusts and non-bankable assets (e.g., operating companies, private equity funds)
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements relating to a trustee's responsibilities
• STEP certification in International Trust Management
• Client-centric mindset with the ability to balance business needs and controls
• Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients and relationship managers
• Ability to review contractual documents and financial statements for impact on private trust structures
• Enthusiasm for learning and professional growth
