The staff will be part of a team that supports the professional development of religious teachers and leaders through training programmes and other learning initiatives. This includes the training for future as well as in-service asatizah through the Post-graduate Certificate in Islam in Contemporary Societies (PCICS) programme and the Asatizah Recognition Scheme’s Continuing Professional Education (ARS-CPE).
**Job Requirements**
Curriculum Development
- Conceptualise and implement Customised Pathways for key Asatizah roles including development of modules. This includes conducting Learning Needs Analysis for key asatizah roles, developing new modules & enhancing existing modules.
- Work with partners/ vendors ( internal & external) to develop and deliver these modules for both ARS Tier 1 & 2 Asatizah
- Pilot alternative learning modalities e.g online, blended
Policy Development & Review
- Develop the CPE 2.0 Framework Document
- Develop & Review CPE Administrative & Learning Policies
- Assist in developing the long-term business model for CPE
Support CPE Operations
- As part of a project team, assist in the development of an Integrated Learning Management Portal
- Evaluate ad-hoc training opportunities for asatizah and nominate suitable participants
- Recommend new courses to be added to annual CPE calendar
CPE 2.0 Workgroup Secretariat
- Plan and conduct monthly check-ins to track progress of CPE 2.0 deliverables
**Job Requirements**
- ARS certified (Tier 1) with a tertiary education in Islamic Sciences
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in curriculum development or teaching
- Have strong interest in Asatizah Development, Adult Learning, Higher Islamic Education and Developments in Socio-Religious sector
- Possesses a strong network with asatizah fraternity
- Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people at different levels
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
