Singapore US Federal Aviation Administration Full time

**Duties**:
The incumbent works independently to primarily prepare, write, edit, research, and develop and/or process the following: Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Advisory Circulars (ACs), responses to FAA and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Safety Recommendations (SRs), Special Airworthiness Information Bulletins (SAIBs), and/or regulatory/policy documents. These documents include rulemaking notices, amendments, regulatory evaluations, exemptions, special conditions, and related supplementary material. Oversees the timely processing of these documents by tracking, monitoring, and reporting on their progress via computer databases.

The incumbent may be tasked to (1) develop/edit other documents such as administrator alerts, continued airworthiness notification to the international community (CANIC), briefing papers, congressional responses, whistleblower responses, and newsletters; (2) perform technical support duties; (3) coordinate office publications with the Office of Federal Register; (4) coordinate regulatory documents with FAA Legal and the Office of Rulemaking; (5) perform other duties as assigned.

**Education**:

- Undergraduate and Graduate Education:_ Must have included a total of 15 semester hours in an appropriate scientific, technical, or social science field(s), and at least one course above introductory level in the field(s) covered by the position. For technical manuals and specifications writers or editors, the equivalent of 15 semester hours may have been gained through vocational or educational training above the high school level at a public, private, or Armed Forces school.

**Education substitution for the G Band**: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. Education may be combined with experience to meet the one year required specialized experience.
