- Being a sound board for various global initiatives and its relevance for Asian markets;
- As the Leader, you will stay close to the market and drive products / services that are relevant to clients in Asia (eg. Local plus surveys, training & webinars, spot polls etc)
- Drive / lead Global Mobility Forum.
**What you can expect?**
- Since the pandemic Mercer opened up opportunities to participate in forums to selected clients in Australia, HK, NZ and Malaysia).
- From a Mobility background this person will be already familiar with our typical work and projects, and we are seeking someone to bring interesting perspective and expand their relationship with global clients who have offices in Asia.
- The purpose of the role is to grow and manage a portfolio of regional mobility clients as well as drive performance and initiatives of a team of country based consultants through the region who assist locally-based clients in designing and implementing mobility programs and initiatives to meet clients’ needs with a key focus on driving mobility related sales and revenue. The Regional Leader will also build Mercer’s brand in the mobility space across all relevant markets.

**We will count on you to**

**Generates revenue**:

- Through development of new client relationships and maintaining and expanding strong existing client relationships, ideally leading to opportunities for project extensions, cross-selling into other product and business lines, and referrals to new prospects.
- Developing and managing own sales pipeline. Networks with Market Reps, Client Managers, Relationship Managers and Mercer consultants to identify and pursue regional sales leads, actively manage individual opportunities, respond to RFPs, develop proposals and lead opportunity meetings with clients. Proactively identifies targets / prospects, develops and nurtures relationships to consultatively identify opportunities and open doors
- Manages the day-to-day interaction with regional clients. Develops, drives and supports the execution of the various country Mobility sales strategies for the region by working with the locally based SMEs on identifying opportunities and providing information and education on new product solutions and innovations.
**Project Execution**
- Structures and/or reviews country based client deliverables. Leads project teams focused on developing analytics, strategies, philosophies and programs that address clients' mobility needs.
- Provides consulting services to regional and country senior management on a variety of remuneration and mobility issues, including competitiveness of pay and mobility packages, globalization issues, and governance, tax and regulatory implications. Assesses current reward and program features, relative to the market and to the clients' unique situations.
- Optimizes clients’ mobility spend for both the company and the employee.
- Provides **thought leadership **on mobility-related issues. Maintains marketplace visibility through public speaking engagements and publications on related topics
- Provides **guidance to country based SMEs for mobility**. Supervises staff on a project-by-project basis. Develops, evaluates, and mentors less experienced colleagues.
**Experience**:

- Broad and deep regional global mobility experience including a thorough understanding of the trends and needs of large regional operations in this area. At least 10 years’ total and progressive mobility experience encompassing multiple markets.
