**Job summary**

The hiring company is establishing a new VDI business unit, providing an excellent opportunity to acquire experience in presales product engineering.

**Responsibilities**
- Support set-up and configuration of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) backend for PoC, Demos and Internal Testing
- Support, troubleshoot and administer the VDI environment
- Manage the Canonical snap store, technical support, updates, configurations and account creation
- Stay current on trends and best practices in VMware, Citrix and Azure
- Provide training to users as required as part of deployment
- Respond to incidents and alerts as requested
- Work closely with product development and test team, sales and marketing team and external customer doing PoC/PoV

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
- Understanding of VDI with minimum 2 years’ experience in administration of at least one VDI environment
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot potential VDI support scenarios
- Experience in Windows Desktop administration
- Experience in Application deployment and virtualization
- Experience of security standards, best practices and principles
- Experience in end user support
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
