Support SHE Leadership
- Support local leaders including SHE Manager, other functional line managers. Continuously engage with them in order to secure and strengthen their commitment and leadership to SHE.
- Promote, display, encourage and reinforce positive behaviours, in line with the Rentokil Initial’s values and behaviours.
- Support business to keep up-to-date and maintain an effective working knowledge of SHE legislation, company requirements, best practice and the country / business unit activities.
- Assist SHE Manager in the implementation and maintenance effective SHE management systems to ensure compliance with SHE legislation, RI Group & Regional policies, and any other requirements the business subscribes.
- Implement and maintain RI approved risk assessment processes to ensure that work-specific and site-specific risks are identified, assessed and controlled.
- Support business to implement safe working instructions for routine and non-routine work activities based on the findings of the work-specific and site-specific risk assessments.
- Assist business in the implementation of effective process for the management of contractors.
- Support SHE Manager to prepare and provide appropriate SHE info. for tender/ contract submission.
- Support the integration of new acquisitions into the business SHE management and arrangements.
- Assist in regular SHE Inspection of RI workplaces and on-site operations, and submission of reports.
- Assist to monitor regular equipment inspections and maintenance are done by relevant functions and reports are submitted.
- Review with Country SHE Manager to ensure appropriate corrective & preventive actions are taken to eliminate or control the risks from hazards identified at RI workplaces and customer sites.

Assessing and Managing Risk

Building Capability
- Deliver SHE learning programmes, as directed by SHE Manager, to ensure that employees have the required knowledge, skills and training to competently perform their work in a safe and environmentally sound manner.

Communication and Consultation
- Support business to maintain effective SHE communication and consultation processes.
- Communicate and consult effectively with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders.

Performance Measurement
- Assist to implement and maintain monitoring systems to evaluate progress towards the achievement of the Business SHE objectives and targets; compliance with legislative requirements, Group and Regional requirements.
- Ensure that all incidents (near misses, first aid, lost time injuries) and work-related ill-heath cases are reported and investigated in accordance with Group, Regional and Local requirements.
- Support the business to prepare for and facilitate internal / external SHE audits and inspections.
- Evaluate with Country SHE Manager on the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions taken as a result of audits / inspections and accident, incident and work-related ill-health investigations.
- Render support in the periodic updates and analysis of the results of audits / inspections, incident and ill-health statistics to identify any common trends / underlying weaknesses in SHE management.
- Assist Country SHE Manager to prepare monthly, quarterly and half-yearly SHE reports, incident reports and submit punctually for review by the Regional SHE team and Local management team.
- Participate in monthly SHE Committee Meetings and render support in recording of the minutes.
- Support Country SHE Manager in regular SHE performance review and improvement planning process in the business.

Review and Improvement
- Assist Country SHE Manager to prepare monthly, quarterly and half-yearly SHE reports, incident reports and submit punctually for review by the Regional SHE team and Local management team.
- Participate in monthly SHE Committee Meetings and render support in recording of the minutes.
- Support Country SHE Manager in regular SHE performance review and improvement planning process in the business.

**Requirements**:

- Had attained safety, health and environment qualifications - certificate/ diploma/ degree with or without SHE work related experience.
- Or interested to pursue a career in safety, health and environment, willing to be trained for Safety Officer qualification and in Sustainability.
- Good communications skills.
- Willing and interest to present and train.
- Able to use software for reports, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Docs, Google Sheets.
