The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) is dedicated to safeguarding the global financial system by reducing cyber-risk. Our financial institutions members share cyber and physical threat intelligence to protect their organizations and customers. FS-ISAC is Headquartered in the US, with regional head offices in the UK and Singapore.

The APAC Events Manager develops, plans, and executes a variety of both internal and external events for FS-ISAC and its members. The Events Manager collaborates intensively with in-region teams, other departments, and global counterparts, to stage virtual and in-person events. They oversee all aspects of event planning and management, including identifying and working with external venues, negotiating contracts, supporting sponsors, speakers, attendees, performing content research, stakeholder management, and budget management. Events range from webinars to an annual 2-day conference, half-day to full day member meetings, drinks receptions, CISO Congresses, team building, and others, with more than 30 events held per year all over APAC. Our members value quality over quantity and strategic and resourcing considerations influence the annual schedule.

The APAC Events Manager reports directly to the APAC Managing Director, out of the Singapore office (hybrid role if desired).

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

Event Planning and Execution
- Plan and help run quality, well-attended member meetings and regional events - speaker logistics, content research, conference platform operation, agendas, presentation materials, scheduling, budgets, costings. Point of contact for attendees.
- Support member participation by driving of communication and outreach to attendees, and post-event follow-ups and tracking.
- Manage APAC part of the global events calendar, considering national/religious holidays and other events that could impact attendance.
- Work closely with other staff to ensure engagement of regional member firms (measured by event participation and service take-up).
- Support global events team in planning and executing the annual regional summit conference.
- Plan and run member meetings and conferences, webinars, drinks reception and roundtables.
- Work closely with the global events team to ensure quality, well-attended workshops and summits in the region.
- Public speaking, event moderation and front-of-house: you’re comfortable running events in APAC locations by yourself including socializing with guests. Provide short verbal briefs to members on calls or at events on how to make the most of the FS-ISAC events and services.
- Organize and operate conferencing platforms and surveys per each event’s process.
- Communicate opportunities or proposals for improvement as needed and execute as directed.
- Maintain or create process documentation.
- Occasional meeting management, arranging team events and foreign staff visits.
- Support outreach activities through managing lists in Excel.
- Log activities with members in the customer relations management database and support maintenance of member data in CRM.
