As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Procurement and Sustainability Officer to help strengthen our procurement offering enabling our teams to deliver exceptional experiences to our clients in a cost effective and sustainable way.

This role will work closely with the Head of Finance to set SOP’s across the agency that encourage sustainable and cost effective solutions that meet & where possible exceed ISO standards.

Core Responsibilities
- Organise and maintain the agency's supplier database in accordance with SOP's and the Sustainable Events ISO 20121 as well as IT Security Management ISO 27001 standards.
- Perform sustainability and confidentiality evaluation of existing and new suppliers in accordance with our internal process and ISO standards.
- Ensure the sustainability evaluations, pre
- and post-projects are done and documented.
- Own the supplier onboarding process, with a focus on sustainability & cost effectiveness whilst upholding SOP's and ISO standards,
- Work closely with the Production & Events teams to ensure that the Sustainable Project Assessment Exercise is undertaken as part of every project's AAR, documented and filed.
- This role requires cross collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders, working to tight deadlines.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a procurement role
- The ability to influence various stakeholders, creating buy in to new SOP’s
- Experience with compliance
- The desire to work in a fast paced, multinational environment
- Understanding of ISO standards, and in particular ISO20121 or ISO27001 is a plus but not required.

This role would be ideal for someone with procurement experience, who wants to take the next step in their career to gain more ownership over setting & enforcing SOP’s & ISO standards, at the crossover of Finance and Operation functions. As this is the first position in a newly created department for Chab, the growth opportunities and career path are very visible.
