Key Responsibilities:
Manage Lifeguard Team:

- Supervise SJLGs across a designated zone of 5 pools.
- Ensure lifeguard teams are adequately deployed across all pools.

Operational Support:

- Provide on-the-ground operational support to lifeguard teams.
- Resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during operations.
- Perform lifeguard duties as required.

Training and Development:

- Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) for new SJLGs.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the lifeguard team.

Partnerships and Collaboration:

- Develop strong working relationships with SportSG staff and other stakeholders on the ground.

Reporting and Documentation:

- Provide daily parade state reports detailing the status and operational readiness of each pool within the zone.
- Support the SJ Scheduler/Deployment Executives with monthly rostering and scheduling.

Discipline and Compliance:

- Manage and enforce discipline among the SJLGs.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols and operational standards.

Qualifications:

- Bronze Medallion certification.
- More than 10 years of experience as a lifeguard.
- More than 4 years of experience managing a team of lifeguards.
- Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
