Working for a banking client, As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex technical projects (AML and transaction monitoring) from initiation to completion.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, create project plans, allocate resources, track progress, and ensure successful delivery of projects within scope, budget, and timeline.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and timelines. Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, quality assurance testers, and stakeholders, to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and expectations.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and status updates to provide visibility into project progress, risks, and issues, and to solicit feedback and alignment from stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor project performance and quality metrics, and implement corrective actions as necessary to address deviations from plan.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, optimize resource utilization, and enhance project delivery capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and standards, and promote a culture of accountability and excellence within the project team.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Program Manager, managing complex technical projects in a software development or IT environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and Jira.
- Must have min 5 years of experience leading complex banking projects with min 3 years in AML / KYC Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid technical background and understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software architecture, and technology stacks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective solutions.
- PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
