**We’re Hiring: Museum Learning Facilitators (freelance, part-time)**

Are you passionate about Arts education and skilled in engaging young minds? We’re looking for facilitators with a minimum of 4 years’ experience guiding or teaching school groups, ideally having experience in MOE teaching or guiding at museums or in conducting learning journeys. Applicants should have MOE teaching experience (preferably Art-based) or hold the NIE Essentials of Teaching and Learning Certificate. NAC-AEP registration is required.

Strong communication skills and a love for inspiring curiosity and creativity in learners will make you a great fit for this role. Familiarity with inquiry-based learning approaches, such as Visible Thinking Routines, and the ability to facilitate meaningful artwork discussions with students will be helpful whilst training will be provided.

Join us in creating enriching onsite (at museums) and offsite (at schools) museum learning experiences

**Essential Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- Minimum of **4 years** teaching or in guiding school groups in museums or conducting learning journeys.
- MOE teaching experience, preferably with a focus on Art-based education.
- **Certification**:

- Must be a NAC-AEP (National Arts Council-Arts Education Program) registered instructor.
- Minimally a **NIE Essentials of Teaching and Learning Certificate** is required to ensure pedagogical proficiency. Other NIE Teaching Qualifications may be accepted.
- **Pedagogical Knowledge**:

- Proficiency in inquiry-based learning approaches such as Visible Thinking Routines, to encourage student engagement and critical thinking.
- Strong ability to facilitate artwork discussions with students, making art accessible and relatable.
- **Communication Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication tailored to school-aged audiences.
- Ability to create engaging, interactive, and participatory sessions for students.

**Preferred Skills and Attributes**:

- Experience integrating art-based projects or activities into learning programs.
- Familiarity with art workshop or programme facilitation.
- Adaptability to work with diverse age groups and learning needs.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
