The Head of Digital Onboarding and Payments is a responsible for managing a team of Product managers, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management for his/her team

Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development digital enhancements & strategies in areas of onboarding, payments across cards and lending products. He/ She will also be the key contact in managing partners like Apple, Samsung, Mastercard, Visa with regards to payments.

The person's role will oversee and be responsible for cards & lending digital enhancement roadmaps, with oversight on all cards & lending technological and digital enhancement projects and will also be the lead person reviewing and prioritization these projects for the department and work with the various teams on the follow through in execution. He/ She will also be responsible in working with our Business planning team on the technology enhancements expenses management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals as well as negotiate and make decisions on issues/activities having critical impact/influence on the digital onboarding & activation and wallets/ emerging payments
- Lead strategic digital onboarding & activation and wallet/ emerging payments development, program launches, and program marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as survey and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Support client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to drive issuing sales & balance market share.
- Manage day-to-day marketing, delivery of the digital onboarding, activation and payment flows, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
- Oversee all aspects of life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field as well as drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage ongoing relationships.
- Manage digital onboarding & activation and emerging matrix and performances and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans & technology budget for the cards & lending teams
- Define and launch new digital product features, and capabilities including defining the product/feature and go-to-market strategy, & upgrade existing ones to increase product relevance given changing generational mix & customer preferences in our target segment.
- Drive & execute Win in Wealth & Multi-relationship (MRC) customers growth plans and lead on digital onboarding & activation and emerging payments flows, in partnership with our Retail & Private banking counterparts
- Participate in technology development and market launch activities
- One of the key point of contact Apple, Samsung, Mastercard, Visa for on payments & wallets & Govtech
- Manage the onboarding, digital activation and payments flows and relevance across the suite of credit card products and ensuring cards preference, brand awareness and Positive Net promoter score and ensuring digital adoption and key metrics around the same

**Qualifications**:
10+ years of relevant experience

8 years of managerial experience

Experience managing in a global and matrixed environment including managing cross

functional areas

Extremely strong understanding of the market landscape for cards business and also the operating environment and the development digital platforms pertaining to onboarding and payment flows

Understanding of how to generate value from partnerships and to evaluate the same so as to

be able to drive growth in issuing sales for the bank.

In-depth knowledge of industry and competitor products/services
