
Marketing and Business Development Assistant

The Marketing and Business Development Assistant will support the marketing and business development team by managing day-to-day activities, assisting in the implementation of marketing strategies, and contributing to business growth initiatives. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Marketing Support**:
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Maintain and update the company’s website and ensure content is current and accurate.
- Assist in organizing and promoting events, webinars, and trade shows.
- **Business Development Support**:
- Assist in identifying and researching potential business opportunities and partnerships.
- Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and sales materials.
- Maintain and update CRM systems with client and prospect information.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and follow-up communications with clients and prospects.
- Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.
- **Administrative Duties**:
- Provide administrative support to the marketing and business development teams.
- Manage calendars, schedules, and travel arrangements for team members.
- Prepare and process expense reports, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Maintain organized files and records of marketing and business development activities.
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and partners as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, business development, or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software).
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing strategies.
- Previous experience in a similar industry or sector.
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position.
- Office-based with occasional travel for events and meetings.
- Flexible working hours may be required to meet project deadlines.
Pay: Up to $3,500.00 per month
