Our Client is an established Japanese Company which produces and sells polyvinyl alcohol resin and related chemicals. The OSBL Senior Executive is contract negotiation and assists the Managing Director and Manufacturing Director in the management of OSBL contract negotiations (for utility, raw material, wastewater/liquid, related contractor etc.): You will be reporting to Procurement Manager.
【 What you will be doing 】
- Plan, direct, and negotiate all OSBL contracts so that the company benefits best from the outcome of the contract, in terms of the period, timing, cost impact, supply reliability and flexibility for business continuity.
- Liaise with managers, project teams and head office (Tokyo and other global entities) to settle issues or conflicts among several divisions/departments/project teams for making the most rational and reasonable decision.
- Detect and review any risks, concerns or related information that affects the business, finance and operations of the company, followed by providing recommendations to take effective actions.
- Suggest solutions or ideas to improve internal operations relating to daily or project transactions based on past experiences.
- Conduct external audits for suppliers/vendors or evaluate and propose corrective/preventive/improvement actions.
- Advise and assist purchasing or project teams in making their activities/work more straightforward and efficient.
- To report the above items to superiors and perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by superiors.
- ** Requirement**: 【 What they are looking for 】
‐ Diploma in Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline.
‐ Minimum 5 years of experience in OSBL contracts
‐ Excellent interpersonal skills
‐ Strong negotiation skill
‐ Attentive to details
‐ Able to work independently
‐ Establish professional relationships with suppliers and clients
- ** Working Hour**: 9:00 ~ 18:00
