**What You Will Do**
- Produce 3D assets and scenes based on concept and reference imagery, and create environment art, including natural environments and architecture, that make something excited in the new miHoYo game.
- Develop a broad range of environments that include trees, architecture, foliage, and highly creative unique points of interest needed to define the visual direction of the game.
- Work closely with level designers and artists to develop unique gameplay spaces and captivating environments that draw the player in.
- Use high poly sculpts and source art to create real-time environment art models and textures that are production ready for rigging and animation.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively on creative and complex assignments with other artists, designers and engineers.
- Responsible for troubleshooting technical and artistic issues, and evaluating software, tech and tools to help identify opportunities for pipeline improvement.
- Contribute creative and original ideas towards all aspects of game production and development.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience in professional game development as an environment artist, with at least 1 shipped title in the AAA console / PC space.
- Professional experience in making concept, modeling and texturing environments using 3D Max, Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, and Substance Designer/Painter. (or equivalent 3D and 2D programs)
- An exceptional understanding of form, shape, structure, and silhouette in regards to modeling.
- Knowledgeable in Next-Gen modeling, sculpting and procedural techniques and understands how to use them effectively to create handcrafted and stylized art with allure and appeal.
- Possesses in-depth understanding of game engines, pipelines, and processes.
- Impressive communication and strong problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of game art with an ability to clearly discuss modern trends
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong traditional art foundation knowledge.
- Passion for games and record of playing a variety of game genres.
- Tech Otaku that love to create a fantasy world.
