We are seeking a driven and experienced **Airfreight Supervisor**to join our dynamic team of freight professionals, specialising in **perishable logistics**. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, global freight forwarder with a clear vision to become the market leader in perishable air cargo.

In this role, you will:

- Lead and manage a small operations team across multiple shifts, ensuring 24/7 coverage and service excellence.
- Oversee daily airfreight import and export activities, with a focus on **perishables**including food, dairy, seafood, and floral shipments.
- Ensure compliance with all **Singapore import/export regulations**and relevant health and food safety standards.
- Possess strong working knowledge of regulations for importing/exporting from countries including **Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, France, Italy, and the United States**.
- Take full responsibility for the **profitability of the airfreight department**, including vendor negotiation, cost control, and margin management.
- Liaise with subcontractors, airlines, ground handlers, and government agencies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and hands-on support.
- Be willing and available to respond to urgent shipment issues, including late-night or early-morning operations, and to travel to the airport office when required.
- Ensure correct packing requirements are met for different product types based on destination and product category.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to junior staff.
- **Attend customer and industry functions**as required to strengthen commercial relationships.
- Represent the company with professionalism and enthusiasm to **build partnerships with vendors and clients**.
- **An interest in the food sector**is a plus and will be viewed favourably.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **5 years of experience in airfreight perishable logistics**within Singapore.
- Proven team leadership and operational planning experience.
- Strong knowledge of **TMS (Transportation Management Systems)**; **CargoWise**experience is an advantage.
- Proficient in **Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook**.
- Excellent spoken and written **English**. Additional languages such as **French or Tamil**are a plus.
- Highly organised, solution-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills - a **team player**who is proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable.
- Willingness to attend **work functions, customer events**, and represent the company externally.
