Airfreight Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Airfreight Supervisor to oversee daily airfreight import and export activities, with a focus on perishables including food, dairy, seafood, and floral shipments.
About the Role:- Lead and manage a small operations team across multiple shifts, ensuring 24/7 coverage and service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and relevant health and safety standards.
- Take full responsibility for the profitability of the airfreight department, including vendor negotiation, cost control, and margin management.
- Liaise with subcontractors, airlines, ground handlers, and government agencies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and hands-on support.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to junior staff.
- To lead and manage a team of freight professionals in overseeing daily airfreight import and export activities.
- To ensure compliance with all regulations and health and safety standards.
- To take responsibility for the profitability of the airfreight department.
- To liaise with various stakeholders including subcontractors, airlines, and government agencies.
- To establish and maintain strong relationships with customers.
